Diversity

Rationale

Growing up in small private schools, I rarely got exposure to diversity, in any aspect really. When I came to college, this changed for me as a got to observe and experience diverse classroom full of different cultures, skin colors, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am thankful for this exposure because as a result of it, I now have a strong desire to work along these different backgrounds and create a unique learning environment for each of my future students.
Below I have included some reflection that talk about some of my students while in service learning. I have also included a paper I wrote in my diversity class that is based off an interview I did with a friend.
